Mailsheaf Privacy Policy

Effective: October 19, 2026. Publisher: Front Porch Puzzle Press ("we").

Mailsheaf is an Outlook add-in that saves attachments from several emails at once, exports a list of emails to a CSV file, and saves or prints several emails together. It runs inside Outlook on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your mail, and no email content is ever sent to us.

What Mailsheaf accesses

• Only the emails you select, and only when you click one of its buttons. It uses Outlook's own add-in API with the "read item" permission. It cannot see other messages or folders, and it cannot send, change, move or delete mail.
• For those emails it reads the subject, sender, recipients, date, Message-ID, attachments and, for the CSV body columns and the printable page, the body text.
• Your license key, if you buy Pro, is sent to Gumroad's license API (api.gumroad.com) to confirm the purchase, at activation and about once a week after. Nothing else is sent to Gumroad.

What Mailsheaf stores

• The files it creates (ZIP, CSV or HTML) are built in memory on your device and saved to your Downloads folder. We never receive a copy.
• Your license key and its email address are kept in Outlook's add-in settings for your mailbox, so Pro follows you between devices. Removing the key in the add-in deletes it.

Hosting

The add-in's own files (its HTML, script and images) are downloaded from our host, Vercel, which keeps standard web server logs (IP address, time, browser) for a short time. Microsoft's Office.js library is downloaded from Microsoft. Neither request includes any of your mail.

What we do not do

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data, and no use of your data to train AI or machine-learning models.

Removing Mailsheaf

In Outlook, open Apps or Get Add-ins > My add-ins and remove Mailsheaf. That removes its settings, including any license key.

Children

Mailsheaf is a productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
