Halloween Picture Bingo: 130 Unique Printable Cards for Kids

Printables in this collection

A classroom party has rules a home party does not: a fixed time slot, a room full of kids at different reading levels, a printer budget, and a principal who would like it to look a little educational. These printable classroom party games and activities are made with that in mind. Every one is an instant PDF; the party games are licensed for classroom use, and the teaching packs are licensed for one teacher in one classroom.

Class party games every child can play

Picture bingo is the easiest win for a class party. Every card in our bingo sets has 24 pictures with the word under each one, so pre-readers and fluent readers play the same game, and every set was checked by computer so no two cards are alike:

Each set includes an ink-saving black and white version and calling cards. For a quick circle game, Pass the Pumpkin has a classroom way to play and short versions of every story for little kids. The 50 Christmas party games bundle lists an age range for every game, so you can print only the pages that suit your grade.

Seasonal activities that still teach

  • Hundreds chart mystery pictures, grades 1-3: 12 pictures at three skill levels that all color the same image, so one activity covers the whole room.
  • Coordinate graphing mystery pictures, grades 5-6: 8 pictures in first-quadrant and four-quadrant versions, re-plotted by computer to confirm every picture.
  • CVC decodable passages, kindergarten and 1st grade: 20 truly decodable short-vowel stories with a practice page and fluency tracker for each.

A class party plan that fits 45 minutes

Start with a seat activity while the room settles (a word search or mystery picture), move to bingo as the main game, add a circle game if the clock allows, and finish with snacks. Pre-cut calling cards and count out markers the day before. Our game-hour plan was written for a family Christmas party, but its running order and "no elimination games" rule are exactly right for a classroom.

For indoor recess and early finishers, the kids' crosswords, joke and Would You Rather books below are good to keep on the shelf.
