Tailquill Terms of Service

Effective October 25, 2026

Tailquill is published by Front Porch Puzzle Press. Converting up to 25 notes per document to endnotes, restoring real footnotes, making footnotes match the body text, and reviewing and highlighting notes are free. Tailquill Pro is a one-time purchase sold through Gumroad that adds any number of notes, numbering that restarts in each chapter, repeat references to a note, and the .docx tool that makes Microsoft Word endnotes. Pro has no subscription and does not expire. Each license is for one person. If it doesn't work for you, reply to your Gumroad receipt within 30 days for a refund.

Tailquill is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It changes your document only when you choose a command; use Google Docs' Undo (Ctrl+Z) or version history to reverse any change. Google Docs doesn't tell add-ons where pages break, so Tailquill's endnotes are numbered and linked, not given page numbers, and a .docx opened in another program may lay out slightly differently. Check important documents before you submit them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tailquill. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA.
