Cluequill Terms of Service

Effective: October 19, 2026. Publisher: Front Porch Puzzle Press ("we").

1. The service

Cluequill is a Google Docs™ add-on that inserts printable puzzles into your document. All six puzzle types (word search, crossword, fill-in, word scramble, sudoku and cryptogram) with answer keys, up to 20 words, are free, with a small "Made with Cluequill" line on each page. Pro is unlocked with a Puzzle Maker Pro license key from Front Porch Puzzle Press (sold through Gumroad); it adds large print, up to 40 words, up to 10 different versions at once and removes the credit line. The same key also works in the Puzzle Maker on our website.

2. Your documents and puzzles

Cluequill only adds content at your cursor; it does not change or delete anything already in your document. Edit > Undo and File > Version history reverse an insert. The puzzles you make are yours to print and share for home, classroom, activity-program and event use.

3. Payment and refunds

Gumroad handles payment for Puzzle Maker Pro. If it doesn't work for you, ask for a refund within 30 days and you will get it. A refunded, charged-back, cancelled or disputed purchase ends Pro access. Please don't share or publish your license key.

4. No warranty; limit of liability

Cluequill is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Every fill-in and sudoku is checked to have exactly one solution, but please look over a puzzle before you hand out copies. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.

5. Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes on this page. Continuing to use Cluequill after a change means you accept it. Features you already bought stay included.
