Solve the pictures. Name the killer.

The morning after the Harvest Supper, the Gull Point Light is dark for the first time in forty years, and Captain Silas Marsh is found dead in his armchair at the top of the tower with a cold cup of tea at his elbow. The doctor says his heart gave out. Constable Hattie Birch isn't so sure, and she wants your help.

Seven people left the supper before nine o'clock. None of them can prove where they were.

Crime Scene Nonograms is a murder mystery you solve with a pencil. Every left-hand page is a short scene from the case. Every right-hand page is a nonogram (a picture logic puzzle, also called a griddler or hanjie), and the picture you reveal is a piece of evidence: a key, a teacup, a chess knight, a bicycle, a pair of broken spectacles. Five of the pictures are key clues. Check each one against the Suspect Sheet, cross off everyone it rules out, and by the last page only the killer is left.

  • 60 hand-designed picture puzzles that grow from 10x10 warm-ups to 20x20 and 20x25 finales
  • A connected cozy mystery in five chapters, with a Suspect Sheet, an Evidence Log, Checkpoints and a Final Accusation page
  • Every puzzle computer-checked with two independent solvers: exactly one solution, and no guessing needed
  • A fair-play mystery: the five key clues lead to exactly one suspect, and every one of them is needed
  • A how-to-solve page for newcomers, and room for notes on every scene
  • All 60 solved pictures and the complete case explained at the back
  • Large 8.5 x 11 inch pages

A great gift for fans of cozy mysteries, logic puzzles and whodunits. Grab a pencil and find out who sat across the chessboard from the Captain that night.
