Ferryquill Privacy Policy

Ferryquill is a Gmail add-on that saves the email you are reading into a Notion database you choose. It runs entirely inside Google Apps Script under your Google account and talks to Notion directly with a Notion integration secret that you create. We do not operate a server for Ferryquill, and no email content is ever sent to us.

What Ferryquill accesses

Only the email you have open, and only while the add-on is running (Google scopes gmail.addons.current.message.readonly and gmail.addons.execute). Ferryquill can't read your inbox, search your mail, send, delete or change anything in Gmail.
When you click Save to Notion, Ferryquill sends that one email's subject, sender, recipients, date, a link back to the message, its body text and, if you choose (Pro), its attachments, to the Notion API (api.notion.com) using your own integration secret. It lands in the Notion database you picked, in your own Notion workspace. Notion processes it under Notion's own terms and privacy policy.
Your Notion databases' names and column names are read from Notion so you can pick where to save and which columns to fill. Ferryquill only sees databases you have shared with your integration.
Your license key, if you buy Pro, is sent to Gumroad's license API (api.gumroad.com) to confirm the purchase, at activation and about once a month after. Nothing else is sent to Gumroad.

What Ferryquill stores

Apps Script user properties in your Google account hold your Notion integration secret, your workspace and integration names, your last-used database, tags, status and column choices, your monthly save count and your license key. Only Ferryquill running under your own account can read them.
Google's Apps Script cache holds your database list and column names for up to 10 minutes.

We cannot see any of this. Ferryquill keeps no copy of your emails.

What we do not do

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no selling or sharing of data, no access to any email other than the one you have open, and no use of your data to train AI or machine-learning models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Ferryquill's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Email content is transferred only to the Notion workspace you connect, only when you click Save, and only to provide the feature you asked for.

Removing Ferryquill

In the Ferryquill panel, open Settings and click Disconnect to delete the stored secret. Uninstall the add-on from Gmail's side panel (Get add-ons > Manage), and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To cut Notion access too, delete the integration at notion.so/profile/integrations. Pages you saved stay in Notion until you delete them.

Children

Ferryquill is a productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
