Foliohop Privacy Policy
Effective October 18, 2026
Foliohop is a browser extension that turns a web article into an e-book and delivers it to your Kindle through Amazon's Send to Kindle page. It has no servers and no user accounts.
What Foliohop reads
When you click Foliohop, it reads the article on that tab so it can make the e-book. If you turn on pictures, it downloads the article's images from the site they're hosted on. This all happens in your browser.
Where your data goes
The finished e-book goes only to Amazon, through Amazon's own Send to Kindle page, when you press Send, or to your Downloads folder. Foliohop never sees your Amazon sign-in.
If you buy Foliohop Unlimited, the extension sends your license key to Gumroad (our payment provider) to confirm it is valid. Gumroad's privacy policy covers your purchase.
What Foliohop stores
Your settings, your reading bundle, a count of this month's free sends and your license key, kept in your browser's extension storage. Uninstalling Foliohop removes them.
What Foliohop never does
No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no selling or sharing of data with anyone.
