What’s inside
- 6 large print multiple-choice questions about Sharon: a famous person born there, when it became a town, how many people lived there and how the town grew
- A Remember When page of conversation starters built from the same facts
- A Sharon word search with names and places from town history
- A page for the group leader with every answer, a short note on each one and where it came from
A sample question: Which famous singer or musician was born in Sharon in 1935? The answer is in the kit.
Every fact is checked twice
A question only makes it into a kit when two independent public sources agree on the answer. Population counts and founding dates must match the State of Connecticut’s own Register and Manual. People and places must match both Wikipedia and Wikidata, and every wrong choice is checked too, so no one is marked wrong for a right answer. Questions that fail any check are left out. The sources for each answer are printed on the leader’s page.
