Sumquill Terms of Service

Effective October 19, 2026.

1. The product. Sumquill is a Google Sheets™ add-on that performs statistical analyses, optimization (Solver) and Goal Seek on data in your spreadsheet. The free features are free to use. Sumquill Pro is sold through Gumroad as a yearly membership or a one-time semester pass (183 days from purchase).
2. License. While your plan is active you may use Sumquill Pro on any Google account you sign in with yourself. Don't share, resell or publish license keys. A refunded, charged-back or disputed purchase ends Pro access.
3. Refunds. If Sumquill Pro doesn't work for you, ask within 14 days of purchase for a full refund through Gumroad or by email.
4. Your responsibility for results. Sumquill's calculations are tested against published reference data, but no software is error-free. Check results that matter (graded work, business, financial, engineering, medical or legal decisions) by an independent method. Solver and Goal Seek change cells in your spreadsheet; keep a copy of important work.
5. Academic integrity. Sumquill is a calculation tool, like a calculator or Excel. Follow your instructor's rules on which tools you may use.
6. No warranty. Sumquill is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, the developer's total liability for any claim about Sumquill is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes. Features and prices may change. Changes to these terms will be posted with a new effective date; a paid plan you already bought keeps its features until it ends.
9. Trademarks. Google Sheets™ is a trademark of Google LLC; Excel of Microsoft Corporation; XLMiner of Frontline Systems. Sumquill isn't affiliated with any of them.
