Tagwren Terms of Service

Effective: October 19, 2026. These terms are between you (the shop installing Tagwren) and Front Porch Puzzle Press ("we").

1. The service. Tagwren is a Shopify app that records which products belong to which consignor, calculates consignor shares of sales, records payouts, creates store-credit gift cards you request, applies price markdowns you schedule, and produces statements and consignor earnings pages.
2. Plans and billing. The Free plan covers up to 25 items for sale at once. Paid plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, in US dollars, monthly or yearly as you choose, after any free trial shown when you subscribe. You can change or cancel your plan at any time on the Plan page or by uninstalling. Refunds follow Shopify's billing rules; contact us if you were charged in error.
3. Your responsibilities. You decide your consignment agreements, splits, fees, hold periods, markdowns and payouts, and you are responsible for paying your consignors and for your own tax and record-keeping obligations. Tagwren is a calculation and record tool; it does not move money, hold funds or give legal, tax or accounting advice. Please check balances before paying, especially after editing orders outside Shopify's normal refund and cancellation flows.
4. Accuracy. We work hard to make every calculation exact and test it thoroughly, but the service is provided "as is". If you find a figure you believe is wrong, tell us and we will investigate promptly.
5. Price changes in your store. If you turn on scheduled markdowns, Tagwren changes product prices in your Shopify store on the schedule you set. You can turn markdowns off at any time; a price you change by hand is left alone.
6. Consignor pages. Earnings-page links can be viewed by anyone who has them. Share each link only with its consignor, and reset it if it is shared by mistake.
7. Acceptable use. Don't use Tagwren to break the law, to break Shopify's terms, or to interfere with the service.
8. Data. Our handling of data is described in the Tagwren Privacy Policy. Your data stays yours; you can export consignor balances as CSV at any time.
9. Liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for Tagwren in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes and ending. We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. You can stop using Tagwren at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service, and we will give reasonable notice before discontinuing it.
