Free Hanukkah Word Search Printable, Large Print

Festival of Lights is a 13 x 13 large print Hanukkah word search with 15 words: menorah, dreidel, latkes, gelt, the shamash, sufganiyot and more, running across, down and diagonally but never backwards.

The Eight Bright Nights word scramble has ten words with a hint for each, from the skillet the latkes fry in to the wicks on the candles. Every page prints in black and white and both answer keys are included.

How activity directors use it

Set the word search out on the first evening of Hanukkah, or the nearest program day, alongside a candle-lighting or a latke tasting. Read the scramble aloud and let the room call out answers. It is a good way to invite residents who celebrate to share their own traditions and family recipes.

Printing and sharing

Printing tip: when the print window opens, choose Actual size or 100% so the letters print as large as they were made (every letter is at least 16 point). Make as many copies as you need for your family, residents or group.
